+ Do I need to fast before my appointment?

There is no need to worry about fasting before your appointment.

+ What is checked in the blood test?

Your blood test will check for HIV and Syphilis & Creatinine. Additional tests may be required for certain medical conditions.

+ How will I know when my case is submitted?

Cases are typically submitted by our Panel Physicians within 5 - 10 days of your exam.

+ How can I check the status of my report?

You can check on the status of a submitted report by clicking here.

+ Are there female panel physicians at your clinic?

Yes, the majority of our physicians are female. If you would like to request a female physician for your appointment please contact us ahead of your exam date!

+ How much is an IME?

The cost of your IME depends on your age:

  • Individuals 0 - 14: $160
  • Individuals 15 - 74: $200
  • Individuals 75+: $225
  • X-Ray only: $50

+ What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Please bring the following items to your medical exam:

  • Proper government-issued identification. A passport is preferred but an Ontario or other provincial drivers license also acceptable
  • Eye glasses or contact lenses, if you wear them
  • Any medical reports or test results for any previous or existing medical conditions
  • A list of your current medications
  • If you are a refugee, please also bring your Interim Federal Health (IFH) documents.

+ What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay by cash, credit or debit and you also have the option to pre-pay ahead of your appointment online.
